Need an Epic Solar< Arravis STAY OUT!>

in an up coming game I'm going to have my party face an Epic Solar. they are sopose to get a bow string from it. Basically I'm going to have it chalange the party to a duel or sorts. I need it to be a chalange but winnable.


The party is made up of the folowing.

ranger 12 druid 10 devine champion 2<party leader>LG
5wiz 6 roug 4 fighter 10 arcane archer CG
22 wiz 2 archmage LN
12 roug 10 Shadow dancer 2 assasin N
6 Sor 10 incantrix 6 cleric <half fiend> NE

How much of a challange are you looking for?

This party is @ 25 EL (the templates). If you're looking for a challenge, you could either double the Solar's HD and then add some class levels or you could just add class levels and call it a day.

If you double the HD, the Solar will go up two CR points (IIRC). I think it's a CR 19... So, it would be a CR 21. Then, add eight class levels in Fighter and really make it a threat with either its bow or its greatsword. They would be facing a CR 29 Solar who would really be a nasty threat.

Or, you could use an existing Solar, like Iblis from Green Ronin's Legions of Hell. He's not quite what you're looking for CR wise (I think he's 25 or so), but with a little tweaking he could be.
