Need Birthday Present Ideas for Brother

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I'm looking at sports merchandise, but I'm also thinking of getting him The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion for the XBox 360; he rented it a while ago and never finished it, but he has intended on buying it.

I second this gift notion. :)

I have gotten my older brother a Can of Spam for christmas the last 2 years. Its a great gift idea. Oddly enough, I got a Can of Spam from him for my birthday between those two christmases. You guessed it, that can of spam is getting passed around like a loose woman in a pro sports locker room.

I suggest an Origami Boulder.

mail-order Russian bride!
She can become a legal citizen and then she takes all those clothes of his and sells them and he can go out and buy all those clothes again with the excuse that he is replacing all this things she stole! The perfect gift! Close the poll, I win!

The boy's a Packer fan, you say?

Check out the Packers Pro Shop for all sorts of cheeseheaded goodness. :)

Also, since you mentioned he likes sports books, check out "When Pride Still Mattered", by David Maraniss, a great biography of former Packers coach Vince Lombardi.

Dragonbait, the boy is only 18!

...Precisely the right age for the poor judgement you describe! I agree, you win the thread!

Damn, thanks for the link and the book recommendation! I'm gonna give the Packer's Pro Shop a good long look later, and maybe I'll buy him the book as well. :)

The mail-order bride and oragami boulder ideas are good too.

You're welcome. The nice thing about buying Packers paraphenalia from the Packer Pro Shop is, since it's run by the team, profits go directly to the team. As the Pack is the only publicly-owned (i.e., no deep-pockets owner who's making a fortune somewhere else) team in the NFL, it does help keep the team competitive. :)
