Need help finding a prestige class

In a combat heavy game, armor class is really important. As there is no guarantee that you can keep your magic armor or protection items, I would like an idea to follow regarding a class that gets an AC bonus as a class ability. I already know of the Unfettered from Arcana Unearthed, but I want to know if there are any prestige classes that I could take that would follow the same idea.

Anything would help.

You could start taking Monk levels, they naturally get AC bonuses. Or maybe check out the Duelist from the 3.5 DMG, who gets to add his INT modifier to his AC. I believe the Bladesinger in Races of Faerun also gets this ability.

Off the top of my head:

Wisdom: Monk, Dragon Warrior (Dragon 298), Ninja of the Crescent Moon (Sword & Fist)
Intelligence: Duelist, Bladesinger (Complete Warrior), Invisible Blade (Complete Warrior), Kabuki Warrior (Dragon 298)
Charisma: Mystic Wanderer (Magic of Faerun), Arcane Duelist

I'm sure there are many others.

There's a couple in the Freeport Campaign Setting that get Cha to AC as well.

Freeport Pirate and... Crimelord? Something like that.

Perhaps you should check out the Wheel of time system. The classes there grant an inherent AC progression ala BAB in the core rules.
