Need Help for a Dwarf with a Deadline

I am in desperate need of any and all assistance I can get. After a prolonged time away from the hobby I have begun a playing a new Eberron campaign. I currently have a Dwarf Ranger 1/ Fighter 1 who is shortly going to be attaining 3rd level. And that is the cause of my deadline. I have tried on 4 seperate occasions to purchase a copy of Races of Stone from my FLGS but for one reason or another it has been a no show. I would prefer to buy from the local place as the reasons for the snafu are not the owners fault, and I want to support the home store. But I really need some of the information contained within for the next session.

So if there is anyone out there with information I would greatly appreciate some help. First off is it worth the price for someone who only needs the dwarf information? What PrC's are available? Well basically any information would be helpful.

I think there are 7 prestige classes Dwarves qualify for

Battlesmith - warrior / craftsman
Cragtop Archer - mountain dwelling archer
Deepwarden - underground ranger, may suit your character
Earth Dreamer - underground spellcaster
Iron Mind - strong willed psionicist
Runesmith - cast arcane spells in armour by using runes
Stoneblessed - live with another race of stone and learn its abilities

It don't know whether you'd find it worth the price - there's a heck of a lot of information aimed at gnomes and goliaths, but there's a lot of dwarf stuff as well.

I realize you're not looking for help creating the dwarf, but you should let us know more about him and your campaign. Other resources might help more than Races of Stone.

Thanks...I am trying my first non-spellcaster/psionic character with this Dwarf. And both the Battlesmith and the Deepwarden sound very interesting.

Well the campaign is set in Eberron and based in Sharn. The game is still in the early stages. It has been dungeon crawl/ hack'n slash heavy but with ample opportunity for role-playing. And seems to be moving towards a more 50/50 kind of balance. We are currently starting a quest that will take us to Xen'drick so there is a heavy investigation feel.

The DM is okay with pretty much anything WOTC and Green Ronin.

As for the character what exactly did you want to know?

He is a Ranger 1/ Fighter 1 from the Mror Holds.
Str - 16
Dex - 13
Con - 15
Int - 12
Wis - 12
Cha - 9
We also use Comliness (Physical Appearance) so Com - 13
Feats -
Open Minded (Complete Adventurer)
Weapon Focus - Dwarven Waraxe

He is maxed in Climb, Jump, and Handle Animal (has a Guard Dog pet [eventual animal companion]) with near max Heal, Listen, Search, Spot, and Survival.
