Need Help - Have you seen this Feat?

Ok this might have been what you were thinking of, in the pdf supplement Voadam's Mystical Compendium Feats there were a series of mastery feats that basicly required a metamagic feat and spell mastery as prereqs. They then reduced the metamagic cost of that feat by one when used on spells mastered by spell mastery. So these were third tier feats that gave a bonus on a limited number of spells and made spell mastery more useful.

Voadam, you rock!
Not sure if I've actually seen that book, let alone that specific feat, but I assure you it's the closes I've seen this side of epic since I saw the original. (I was tired, it was late, I forgot. ^^;; )

Still wondering what people think about the Feat in question though.
Here's an idea that my GM thinks sounds good;

"Meta-Focus"
Requires: Any 2 Metamagic Feats, Spellcaster level 9+
Bonus: Choose a Metamagic feat you have at the time you chose this feat. Application of that feat is reduced by 1, to a minimum of +1. This feat may not be taken more than once, not even to enhance a seperate metamagic feat.

(oh, and Voadam, could you link me to the pdf, or perhaps send somehow? Would be appreciated)

Putting in a caster level requirement just doesn't help. It only means you can do more with the feat, since you'll be higher level, have more metamagic feats and have higher-level spells and spell slots to toss around.

Sorry, I just don't see it as a non-Epic feat.

However, Voadam's feat- which requires Spell Mastery, a decidedly suboptimal feat- is all right, because it limits it to a few select spells and has an actual cost. (Just requiring a couple of useful feats isn't a cost, it's a build.)
