Need help with elf name

Above all, it must be completely and utterely unpronouncable, and you must be incredibly condescending when you tell them how to pronounce it.

What is wrong with Silvertree? I like Silvertree...

The elf I am playing now is named Ashwyn M'or Silvertree. I'd say use ENWorld's helpul "Online toolbox" to get a name or three... We have it all right here, baby!

do your other players frequant EN World?> If not, do as I do I borrow from the names of people. Workds great.

I used an Enworlder name for an elf once. A Nyss savage bard named Beyris Noul. I liked that guy...I played him differently enough from myself that my players didn't realize he was a DMPC.

If you can get your hands on a copy of the Silmarillion, there's a short Elvish-English word book in the back. Of course, it's the best book Tolkien wrote by several long shots, and the greatest work of mythological fantasy ever written, so it's worth it anyway.

IMO and all that, but you know it's true...

Am I the only person odd enough to think that Evander Holyfield would be a good elven name?

Lol Elf Barbarian specialising in unarmed combat!

Sadida is a good name for an elf athlete

or you could try the adjective-verb-noun method (Long-Running-Stream)
