The local Pelor chapter in the town has gone a bit crazy and the players are going to have to take out the main priest (invoker) and a few crazy Pelor-themed bad guys. I'm running one of the delves (I think level 6 or 7 one with the ogres and the radiant-themed temple?) as part of the adventure.
I was thinking about a few things... first, some sort of power that creates light should be straightfoward.
Second, and more important, I was wondering about having some sort of rogue/avenger type high level lurker that had some sort of ability that reversed stealth rules for him. That is, instead of requiring dim-light/darkness to make a stealth check, he could make a check only in bright light and could never make a check in dim/darkness. Any ideas on how to handle that as a power? too powerful as an ability?
Third, any suggestions for creating pelor themed powers other than "use radiant damage" and how about "blindness" ?
For those looking at the fluff and wondering about Pelor's alignment and these bad guys, turns out they're being tricked/infiltrated by a cult, there's some demon stealing Pelor's powers, etc. that will be fleshed out as they follow leads beyond this adventure. I was looking at the compendium and noticed some Zhent related guys came up as having some radiant related powers. Worth looking into the FRCS? Any other suggestions for sources of Evil but Light-worshipping bad guys to fill in the fluff?
