Okay, I've got a new monk character I'm creating. Here's my stats for him:
Str: 20 (+5)
Ranks in Jump: 5 (+2 synergy for tumble = 7 total)
Ring of Jumping: +30
Boots of Striding/Springing: Doubles movement (and possible +10 to skill, if it stacks.. I'll assume not)
Movement rate = 50 *2 =100
Total Jump Bonus: +42
So let's say he takes a standing jump into the air and rolls a 10. Total of 52.
You jump 2' up and then 1' for every 8 points over 10.
2 + 5 (8*5=40)= 7 feet up.
But since his movement is 100 and these are for 30 feet, we need to muliply the number by 3.33.
7*3.33 = 23 feet 4 inches.
Is that about right? My math is usually pretty crappy. But I hope it is, as I like the idea of jumping 23 feet in the air from a standing position. It's totally Matrix.
Thanks!
