Need quick Book of Nine Swords multi-classes help

An even weirder part is that sometimes even if you have adept levels you might prefer to have the maneuver as a separate 1/encounter ability, but that doesn't seem to be a possibility, even if you take a non-adept class at the same level you're taking the feat.

10th level is a really good level for the Crusader. I think it would be hard to beat with a level in a different class.

Thinking it over more a level in Swordsage does get you a lot if you do not already have Weapon Focus. You could get Step of the Wind, Counter Charge, Clever Positioning, Devastating Throw, Feigned Opening, Shadow Garrote, and Death Mark. That actually is a whole lot of extra options, good ones even!
