Need to name an ancient group of heroes

If you don't mind going with a Celtic feel:

Faithful Fian
Fian of the Faithful

Note: It really works if you give each of the 3 Heroes 9 followers

Does the group need a name? How are they being referenced? If it's a bardic song, it's a good bet they're just The Three, or the Three Brave Souls, or Those Three Heroes True, or the Brave Trio, etc.
If it's historical, the reference is likely to be more formal: The three heroes who battled evil blah blah blah, or three people of ancient legend, or something like that. If it's a contemporary reference, it's like to be more down to earth ("Them three what fought that nasty god and his wicked clerics!") and if it's an oral history, then names like The Trinity, the Blessed Three, and things like that would be more appropriate. Think about the delivery. Is it a tailormade reference for the heroes alone, or was it written in a volume of ancient lore?

The Untouchable Trio
Ye Olde Tyme Great Hero's III

This from a DM who's historic heroes included:
"The Everdying Knights" - actually famous for dying repeatedly, and coming back from the dead.
"The Lightbringers" - led by a Necromancer, they followed the road paved with good intentions.

It's historical, mostly, but it will be used as a reference that when the dark god is again ready to make His move to conquer the world, it was foretold that new heroes representing these the three deities will again arise to attempt to thwart his evil plans - which, will hopefully end up being the PCs.

The Order of the Trine
Knights of the Holy Trinity
The Three Amigos?:)

Knights of the Holy Trinity sounds promising - though I might say Divine Trinity instead of Holy. I'll have to think on that one.

Thanks
