Needed: Random encounter tables for the Pomarj

Any edition will do.

Actually, what I really need is a good idea of what critters traditionally live there ("traditionally" as in "something akin to an official list"). I thought I'd find stuff on this easily enough, but nope, not so far. Even my 2E (I think it's 2E) module booklet Slavers doesn't have one!

My players jumped me a few weeks ago to come up with a campaign for them in 3.5E, and I've been struggling on the setting--I'm more of a 1E homebrew DM, but I always wanted to DM a Greyhawk campaign. I found some nifty stuff over at the Griffin's Crier--interesting little website, somebody put lots of work into their campaign--and I think I'm ready to go, but I still don't know about typical monsters in the Pomarj (beyond the humanoids, of course; lots of humanoids). And we're playing tomorrow evening after they get off work.

...And this is keeping me awake.

got me at the wrong time. I believe that the WoG 1983 boxed set had regional encounter tables. I'd have to go home to check that. Maybe someone has access to that?

I thumbed thru an old Dragon #167 issue, article titled "See the Pomarj - and Die!". Nothing on animals or creatures, only the humanoid tribes, from the Black Tongue Gnolls to the Wormridden Tree Goblins, a brief history of the region, the Avatar of Krovis, and references to the Slaver modules. I'm afraid you are back to homebrewing for a monster encounter chart.

Yah, a 55% chance for a wyvern encounter might be a bit much. Wyverns are cool but they aren't that cool.

Personally, I don't really like most random encounter tables but that's neither here nor there.
