Finally, there's the mysterious Simon Templeman, who I've found precisely one picture of despite searching quite diligently.

Simon Templeman is my favorite voice actor, and the sole reason I'm getting TiVo. He also recently played a villain on Angel, and had an occasionally recurring role on that old series Northern Exposure as a patient in a mental institution who also happened to be a concert violinist. From what I understand, he does a lot of stage acting as well.

For me though, he will always be Kain. Rowr.

Yeah, from everything I've read, voice actors don't get paid well (unless they're really, really well known) and the market is saturated right now. So, companies can afford to pick and choose. Not to mention there are only three or four locations in the country that have 90% of the voicework.

What else would he play on Angel?

I noticed that on IMDB, actually, and now I just have to wait about 18 months until that episode screens here in New Zealand... then we can see who is truly the bestest vampire of them all. Heheh.

Poor Chris Collins. He should've stayed away from the crack. :(

Anyway, I think the fact that Peter Cullen played Optimus Prime MORE then makes up for whatever beef you may have over him playing Eeyore. ;)

Personally, while I'd love to see him voice Prime, again, I'm glad they haven't been able to get him for the recent Transformers series. They've all universally sucked and would prefer he not be associated with the crapfests known as Robots In Disguise, Armada, or now Energon.

What really distracts me is that Magneto on X-Men:Evolution is voiced by Chris Judge (Teal'c). Its not good when you can't resist imagining an enormous black dude with bicepts bigger than your head when you hear MAGNETO talking.

Seriously? Cool.

I dunno if he's done any cartoons, but Kevin Michael Richardson is one of my favourite voicers over, just edging out Tony Jay - his Sarevok was particularly awe-inspiring.

What, are you kidding? :)

Kevin Michael Richardson has been doing voice work for ages, often times as minor characters or villains. He's not quite as ubiquitous as Frank Welker, but he's all over. I hadn't realized he'd done so much video-game work, though.
