Nevewinter Night's "The Witch's Wake" and "Shadows of Undrentide"

If it's single player action you want, there are several thousand user-made modules available now at Neverwinter Vault; many are junk, but there's a number of very good ones in the mix (rated by users). Stephan Gange's Penultima series has gotten very good marks, and there's also some great conversions of classic D&D mods.

How are the ratings determined and are there any reviews/descriptions to say what type it is. As I said before I would like to play something that is not a hackfest.

They are mainly rated by user ratings (and I think there is a minimum of 10 ratings before an average is displayed), but some modules have been reviewed (there are several thousand modules so you can appreciate that not all have been formally reviewed) with the reviews on the site.

In my opinion, if you start with the Hall of Fame modules you won't go wrong (the Pentiuma modules are in there as well as the Trial of Spirit module - which I thought had a nice spin on the standard modules).

There's a good Pool of Radiance module as well, but that one is more hack and slash (like the original game) than roleplay (in my opinion).

For the Penultima campaigns, direct from the source. I did a quick look over but I didn't find Hall of Fame, is there a link? Or do you mean top rated?

Also, I was at Mortality.net (or something else with a similar black/red theme) sometime ago and recalled a thread about a Planescape Module which was looking great during development (custom skins for winged demons frex). Does anyone know what that PS Module in work is and have a URL handy?

Thanks~

Yea I saw that site a while ago. THere is also (well there was also) an attempt at a d20 Modern Conversion for NWN that I saw. Granted this was about 2 weeks after the book was released, but if you run across it post here for me thanks :D

I've made a module that takes a couple of hours to play. I uploaded it to Neverwinter Vault and those guys have served me with two and a half thousand downloads, ten user ratings in five different categories and a full review! NWVault even rates my module compared to all others. I think mine is currently module rated #155.

My module; rated and reviewed

I HATED the XP system in witchs wake. I understand then need for alternete ways to get XP in NWN, but I like to play fighters, killing monsters is what they do. Witchs Wake was taken to far to the other extreme, IMO. They should have still had a system for fighter types to get XP for killing the monsters.
