Hmmm... part of me thinks that would actually be quite cool!

Fifth Element said:Hold on. Does this power mean that if an ally 5 squares away is targeted with a melee attack, you can get hit by the attack instead? How am I supposed to explain that in-game?
Man, I'm starting to feel like the Derren of divine powers.

Favorite use for a dull grey ioun stone: Paint it yellow, with a smiley face. Ignore its existence. Ask anyone who comments if they need to lie down.Kwalish Kid said:You forgot about the part of making rocks orbit your head. That`s a big part of Ioun`s philosophy.

You're not the only one. The piggy-backing of seemingly unrelated effects that appears to be the norm for divine powers is one of the only aspects of 4e revealed so far that I don't like and no amount of trying to get me to see it another way is going to change that. It just strikes me as ridiculously silly. I think I may houserule it so that attacking isn't necessary in order to bestow the beneficial effects of the powers on your allies.Fifth Element said:Man, I'm starting to feel like the Derren of divine powers.
Pretty much my thoughts on the matter. I quite like the martial and arcane powers we've seen, but it seems like every time I see a new divine power it's "ugh...really?"pukunui said:You're not the only one.
