New, campaign specific Monk class

Kamard

First Post
I just wanted to get some input on this Monk variant that I plan to use for my next campaign world. Its better than my current rule of "No Monks"... This monk is a ten level path designed to enter one of the following prestige classes after 10th level: Contemplative, Forsaker, Fist of Hextor, Ghostwalker, Red Avenger, Sacred Fist.

Anyway, without further stalling:

The Reworked Kamard-Flavoured Monk Class

Is this a base class or PrC, cause its only got ten levels but no entry requirements.

If it's a base class, then what's the thinking behind the ten levels?

It is a base class, the thinking behind the ten levels is that it is tailored to enter a prestige class at 11th level- one of the given prestige classes.

I just have to point out the most obvious error(so I think), the monks BAB should be 2/3, with a full BaB10lvl/+10, makes the monk far superior to that of a fighter

How do you figure it makes him superior to the fighter?

He doesn't have nearly as many weapon skills.

He is lacking the feats to be a fighter.

He is lacking the hit dice to be a fighter.

Please note that this monk flavour DOES NOT have a higher unarned attack bonus rate, save for flurry of blows.

This monk, at first level, is the equivalent of a warrior with ambidexterity and two weapon fighting attack with two shortswords- and thats if he chooses to flurry.
