New CGI Star Wars series

I cant say I am that big of a fan of it. Has too much of a video game feel to it. Anakin in particular does not look real, not nearly as real as say in the Animated Clone Wars.

Yawn.

The Clone Wars just aren't that interesting. We've already had the PT and the animated Clone Wars Volumes 1 and 2. What more do we need? If he wants to do a series why not a series from either between the PT and the OT, or way in the past? Those would be infinitely more interesting.

I'm not surprised that Lucas eventually went fully CGI. The PT was really a mostly CGI trilogy with a few live actors in there.

Seriously though, Lucas and co. need to give people a break from the PT stuff for now. Show us stuff from a different period. I've had enough of that time period.

I have to agree that going back to the well of the Clone Wars seems a little pointless to me, too. Been there, done that. Does Lucas no longer recognize when something has been done well AND SHOULD JUST BE LEFT WELL ENOUGH ALONE? No, scratch that, he obviously can't recognize it.

He needs a new, non-Star Wars hobby.

The live action series is supposed to take place during that period, so that's one reason the animated version won't.

I, for one, am interested in more stuff set during the clone wars, after all the movies only covering the start and the end, and the two previous animated series hardly cover much of the three year galactic war, so there's still plenty to over.
