New Colour User names

First Post
I just noticed at the bottom of the page there's a variety of colours, red, green, even a sandy brown or two.

So it looks like green is mods, but there are a bunch who haven't changed (Henry, Bront) and at least one who is red (P-cat)

Is the sandybrown the new paragon tier sub (or whatever it was changed to)?

Just curious what the colours denote.

Yeah, these are instead of those big badges we used to have under our names. Still makes it clear, but a bit less intrusive. I might tone down the admin red colour, though- didn't realise quite how bright it would look!

Red = Admins
Green = Supermods
Copper = Copper Subscriber
Silver = Silver Subscriber

Henry isn't an admin these days. And there are so many mods of specific forums and hosted forums that I decided to just stick to the supermods.

According to the Admin CP, the colours are colours users can elect to show, so I think there may be a setting somewhere in the User CP.

.

I wouldn't tone down the red colour, it's certainly impressive, you guys mean business with it. I like it BTW it's a good differentiator.

I saw Henry on the Living forums I think...

Are there any Silvers yet?

I want to see what that looks like.

Right now all "regular" names turn the same red as an admin on mouse-over. Maybe they should turn some other color? Or just not turn another color at all, like "copper" names?

Cheers, -- N

Maybe Admin could be royal purple.

It may have been tongue in cheek, but I like this suggestion... and not just because I like purple LOL. The red is a bit distracting to me, esp if an admin is just posting in a thread to contribute to the conversation.
