I just find it funny that folks are picking specific lines out the movie to pick on. It's like shooting fish in a barrel... :D

Especially when the barrel is poorly made and the fish are all diseased ;)

I think she was meant to be a grey elf.

I think they didn't know what they were doing. She was meant to be a love interest for the Wayans brother, they had no clue there were different types of elves or that they might of caused some confusion with their casting (if they did know then they would of done something to explain it). The point isn't whether she was a drow or not, it's whether they even realized there are evil dark elves in the game. The movie was marketed as a D&D movie, you think somebody would of familiarized themselves with the game before they made it.

As from what I understand the Producer and the Director had claim they had played D&D,In the Documentry of D&D they had on the DVD.

Their games probably suck also.

True, but really it was just a movie there idea of everything is made up as it goes. This Movies Story wasn't based on D&D rules even some of the spells they did in the movie were not even in D&D spell book. The director was trying to show some of his creative idea's some of them were really lame when I watched the Cut scenes they did one was a Gold Dragon Egg, two was a Spirt that ask them to go on a Quest, the other was just an crapy stuff he should of shown in the movie the Director explain the three endings they did in the movie and he said they wanted to a possible part 2. I guess Wizard of the Coast is giving them another chance to do it so it can market the game so they can market the game same way they did Pokemon Card game.
