Given that Shemeska doesn't like 4e (or WotC) to begin with, this sort of response is really unsurprising. Are you kidding me? Next thing you say: "Throwing D&D 4th Edition in my face to the point of honestly being offputting to anyone not playing the game?"
It still surprises me. I don't go to the Mercedes Website and complain it's all about their newest model. (And not, say, about my VW Golf).Given that Shemeska doesn't like 4e (or WotC) to begin with, this sort of response is really unsurprising.
I think the new site is the bees' knees. It looks fantastic and everything I need can be reached with a click from the front page. I want to see the forums move towards tighter design like this.
Well, admitting it NOW isn't going to do much good...The old site was, we admit, a navigational nightmare.
So, I just went to the RPGA (DCI) website and it still sucks. Come on guys, that section was was worst!

No. I said this was the next thing, a "step up".So you can't be interested in D&D 4 without having a DDI account?
If you wouldn't know, why would you complain? How shall I complain about art recycling when I can't access those galleries?
That is interesting though. I remember that the zip-package or something like that was only accessible to subscribes, and you were limited to the mini-previews and their in-site-picture-viewer to see the images.A few weeks ago, they were trying to sell the same products and it didn't stop them from making the art galleries freely accessible.
A more or less direct link somewhere on the page wouldn't be bad, would it? It doesn't have to be at the top in the main view on the page.On the positive side, I appreciate the fact that they still retained the previous edition material, although it's rather hard to find now.
They did? It doesn't seem that way to me.
It bothers me because for the entire history of 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 up til now allowed people to look through the art gallery and download images for personal use. I'd like to know why thet decided to move it all behind the wall. Right now it just seems like a way to pad the "insider content" by removing formerly free content.
