New D&D Website

I'm on a Mac and I use Safari almost exclusively.

Initial thoughts:

1. No more horizontal scroll bar.
2. I can again download the PDFs in Safari.
3. I can launch the compendium from the main page.
4. Near as I can tell, I can launch the compendium from any page.
5. Number 4 seems to be applicable to Dungeon and Dragon as well.
6. When I first went to the website, I didn't need to log on!
7. I'm still logged on!
8. I like the wider layout.
9. I don't like the clutter, but it's growing on me.

Overall, this new website makes me think that WotC is really doing well with DDI and is making a huge effort to better use the internet. 18 moths ago, I pretty much shunned WotC's online offerings, dispute really being into the online community there for a while and making lots of use of their online offerings. Their bringing me back.

I'm at work using IE6 and everything looks FUBAR'd to me as all the content is in one long column along the left-hand side of the website (a FUBAR'd website at work is nothing new to me, as the old one appeared wonky too). Anyone else having these issues? I can't wait to go home and take a look in earnest.

It looks fine on IE8. (I'm not sure if how it looks on IE7).

I also use IE6 at work, but I'm of the opinion that companies shouldn't support this browser anymore (other major sites are making this move). It's the only way to send the message to IT departments that still cling to antiquated browsers. Of course, it's likely that IT departments wouldn't be sympathetic to your DND browsing needs at work :)

I am on IE7. I'll look at it the site again when I get to school to see how it looks on safarri and firefox, but from what I see now, the banner takes up to much space forcing the more important page content down leading to too much scrolling. I would like the banner to be smaller which would bring more of the content up into view on my monitor. I'd also prefer to see
a. The row of content containing the Welcome to the new site, the sneaker, and Scales of War about half the size
b. the wallpaper , monster gallery and core essentials just as links on the quick link side menu.
