This is a rumour I've heard and am looking for confirmation.

I hear they'll be releasing Spycraft 2.0 at GenCon, and it will no longer carry the d20 System logo. I'm not surprised.

Yep, they're going standalone. Don't know if I may want to buy the new version. Pretty happy with the current version.

Hopefully there won't be a massive system revision - that game is darned near perfect in my opinion as-is - but it does need more new buzz. I rob rules from that game all the time.

Agreed. I robbed many of the rules from spycraft long ago for my D20 modern game, but now that Ben Durbin put them in Grim Tales (and I use a lot of GT in my Modern game) then nominally you could say I rob Grim Tales now instead of Spycraft. Either way, they will be less constrained by the OGL than D20 license, which I think will be a good thing.

Maybe you should check in at AEG messageboards for any changes, or if you have any suggestion, you better tell them now.
