Who's trolling? You have no proof. I am being serious on the matter and people say I am trolling?

Wow, some of you really are sensitive. Surprised ya lasted this long on the boards.

Yes, but not like you are inferring. I believe we are going to see more feats with multiple functions/options built-in. Simliar to the combat feats from CW. Something Andy Collins said on his board about "tiers/level" of feats... So you will have simple low level feats like Weapon Focus up to multi-function/option feats like Weapon Supremacy in PH2.

So in the long run I would not be surprised to see feats that are focused to low-level PC, mid-levels, high-levels, etc. Therefore I would not be surprised to see a Meta-Magic high-level feat with multiple options to fit certain spells to be cast in a certain order with certain foci and can do "list of options' - that would take 1-2 page write-up.

And this is spoken by perhaps the most sensitive/criticism intolerant poster on this and the WOTC boards?

As the poll states, do you think that we will see a new Feat format?

Probably.

Such as an entry on the origin and history of the feat, guidelines on how to best make use of the feat, a sample NPC with the feat, how to fit the feat in your world and campaign setting, how to alter the feat to do something different, followed by an italicized quote from some anonymous character with the feat and finally concluded with prerequisites and what the feat actually does?

LOL.

Interesting, I hadn't considered that before. Let's see...

Complete Warrior had Tactical feats (about 1/3 page each).
The Player's Handbook II had Tactical feats (about 1/3 page each) and Ceremony feats (about 1/4 page each).
The Book of Iron Might had Fighting Style feats (about 2/3 page each).

CRGreathouse that was GREAT!

:D

I thought that a nice, funny take on the idea might defuse the thread. Unfortunately, I think I just ended up stoking the coals. I'm glad you liked it, though. I espectially like the "scaling" suggestion, just because it's so out of touch. (As though +1 hit point at 10th level is going to help.)

LMAO

My thoughts exactly! My poll was do you think a feat format with something along these lines would come about? Personally, I think yes with the way they've been developing the new formats.

And they have done it with spells, too. Now spells have spell descriptions in italics before informing you to what the spell does. Like developing your own description for spellcasting is so hard to do. :\

What I don't like is that too often the spell descriptions are almost repeated word for word in the actual spell effects.
