Tower Shield Focus [General]
You wield even the largest shields with ease.
Prerequisites: Shield Proficiency, Tower Shield Proficiency, Str 13+
Benefit: When employing a tower shield in combat, you only take a –1 penalty on attack rolls because of the shield’s encumbrance.
Normal: When employing a tower shield in combat, you take a –2 penalty on attack rolls because of the shield’s encumbrance.
As good as a Weapon Focus for every weapon while using the shield. And since greater weapon focus shows up later also...
Greater Tower Shield Focus
You wield the largest shields effortlessly.
Prerequisites: Shield Proficiency, Tower Shield Proficiency, Tower Shield Focus, Str 17+, BAB 6+
Benefit: When employing a tower shield in combat, you take no penalty on attack rolls despite the shield’s encumbrance.
