Flanking
Our group doesn't use miniatures exclusively (sometimes we do, sometimes not), so we've simplified Flanking to whenever you're outnumbered 3:1, regardless of facing. If you're attacked from both sides down a corridor or something, then you're Flanked according to the standard rules but, otherwise, 3 attackers = Flanked. Simple.
