New Gemmell TROY book out!

Awesome!! I'm walkin' through Barnes & Noble and there in the new Sci-Fi is "Troy: Fall of Kings" by David Gemmell!

For those that don't know, after the first two books of the trilogy (which were fantastic), David Gemmell passed away. Well, his wife apparently was able to use his notes and finish up the third book and from all accounts, it's very good.

I'm 120 pages in and I'm lovin' it!! It's a true shame we won't get any more great works from this wonderful author.

My goodness, I didn't realise he had died too. We seem to have been losing writers at an alarming rate...

I bought and finished it yesterday. The introduction by Con Iggulden was great as was the ending (knowing it was coming from the "pen" of Stella). The book suffered for the lack of Gemmell but was readable and maintained what I think was his story.
