New Implements

I have a bard that has taken Blade Initiate (Swordmage multiclass) feat. An aspect of the feat is "...you can use swordmage implements".

So, if I am wielding a magic longsword (which is a swordmage implement) do its bonus's only add to swordmage powers?

The bard is also half-elf and so has a Diletente sorceror power. Do I have to use sorceror implements to get a bonus on that?

Is there another way that implements can be exposed to other classes (other than spiral tower mage)?

I'm pretty sure any implement you use is good on all powers with the Implement keyword. I think it is perfectly justified for a bard to multiclass into cleric and start using a holy symbol for his bard spells, for instance. His mockery didn't get any less vicious just because he took up preaching for a living!

Some DM's might limit implement use to powers with a similar power source, or even restrict them to certain classes as you postulate, but this is firmly in House Rule territory.
