The scorpion is OK but that differently colored tail made my raise an eyebrow.

Agreed! Hopefully, it was just the result of lighting and it will actually look better in real life.

I did like the gold dragon though.

Are you sure? That base thickness says "Medium." If it's Large, that's gonna be the thickest DDM base ever.

Well, the Hellstinger Scorpion is a Large creature in the MM...

The positioning of the pincers looks too goofy, like the scorpion is trying to do a Mick Jagger impression.

The tendrils that form the "beard" of the gold dragon seem way too thick. Those kinds of fine detail are better served being meshed into the head's mass, instead of being rendered one by one.

As per Grayhaze on DDMSpoilers: "If it were a medium common, I'd accept that quality, but it's a large in the 4e MM, and that looks like a large base"
