We are looking for community developers to help with a new d20 sci-fi system that incorporates many different elements of popular sci-fi games into an OGL d20 system.
Current idea snippets include:
E-stream/Ethereal space.
Cyberspace as a plane of existance.
Phaetons (Mechs/Mecha/Gears).
Completely new races with template modifications.
New Classes, of course.
New Skills and Feats.
New systems.
Magic vs Technology conflict as a Theme component.
The theme and 'feel' we are going for is dark and horrorific adversaries such as Alien (Xenomorphs) and Predators (tough and deadly, mixed with the weapons and vehicle technology of Battletech/Mechwarrior, combined with the power of the d20 system.
It sounds sketchy and very "leechy" from other systems, but we are working hard to come up with something new and original with the d20 system integration. If you are interested in contributing with the development or even just helping with ideas and suggestions every now and again, come by and read up.
