Yeah, not so much of a spoiler. While Redcloak is high-level, I don't see him rebuking a lich. And the Xykon we see is much too shy and submissive to be the Xykon we're used to see.

I had a thought, but after re-reading the strip it doesn't make as much sense. Just in case I'm right, here it is:

The fake Xykon has been with them all along... under the pink kitty umbrella! Now the real Xykon is under the umbrella. Yeah, like I said it doesn't make much sense upon a second reading of the strip.

They have undead in the army (notice the "brains" in one of the first couple of scenes). It's more likely to be a dressed-up skeleton than a dressed-up hobgoblin.
