I believe we're due a decent new one,the damn theme song for Star Treck
pretty well says what the entertinment value of rehashing the series ina prequel is about...lame
There were some shows Time Cop,DS9,Firefly....but they aren't anymore
How about a live Gundam Fighter type multi-verse,with some Babylon 5 Rangers like team that sometimes has to battle with a cameo by one of their team as they take on the evil governments and strange occurances
'The Droid Confederacy' -a bunch of pirate types that try to take over remote inhabitants etc
'the Galactic Oligarchy'-a bunch of payoff elected fools that ply with trying to
begin alien enslavement
'the Foriegn Entity Alliance'-they are sort of friends however,they have the same spy type problems as any group
'the Traxiens'-this is the ranger folks,they have a major super cruzer fleet named Traxia cruizers,or battleships,etc patrtolling what they can,as the series makes it's way the name is revealed as the Traxia Gundam that faught durring the Nucleotide Wars,eventually it's found,and makes a fine addition to the Traxiens who now have to fight the banded together 'evil' elements
