New Spells: Spellshield line, Prismatic Blast, Project Self

Ok yet another batch of spells.
We've got a line of all purpose spell-defense spells. A Prismatic Fireball. And a spell to let you project an image of yourself over distances for communication or recon. Tell me what you think.



Spell Shield
Abjuration
Level: Clr 5, Mys 5, Sor/Wiz 5
Components: V, S, M, DF
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Touch
Target: One Creature
Duration: 1 round/level or till discharged
Saving Throw: Will negates (Harmless)
Spell Resistance: Yes

This spell wards the target from magical attack. While the spell is in effect, the target takes only half the indicated damage from any spell or spell like ability that deals hit point damage, regardless of whether or not the target succeeds or fails their saving throw, or whether they have damage avoiding abilities such as Evasion. Once the damage taken has been calculated with all other factors accounted for, this spell reduces the indicated damage by half.
The spell can absorbs 20 points of damage per caster level, to a maximum of 300 points.
Arcane Material Component: a sapphire worth at least 250 gold pieces.


Spell Shield, Lesser
Abjuration
Level: Clr 3, Mys 3, Sor/Wiz 3


As Spell Shield except this spell absorbs 25% of spell damage, and may absorb 10 points of damage/level to a maximum of 100 points.

Spell Shield, Greater
Abjuration
Level: Clr 7, Mys 7, Sor/Wiz 7

As Spell Shield except this spell absorbs 75% of spell damage, and may absorb 25 points of damage per caster level, to a maximum of 450 points.
Arcane Material Component: a sapphire worth at least 500 gp


Prismatic Blast
Evocation
Level: Mys 4, Sor/Wiz 3
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Medium (100 ft +10 ft/level)
Area: 20 ft radius burst
Saving Throw: See Text
Spell Resistance: Yes

This spell creates a blast of prismatic light in the area of effect. All creatures in the area are affected by one of the colours of the burst.
Roll randomly for each creature to determine the effect
1d8 Colour Effect
1 Red 1d4 fire damage/level (max 10d4)
2 Orange 1d6 acid damage/level (max 10d6)
3 Yellow 1d8 electricity damage/level (max 10d8)
4 Green Poison 2 Con damage/2 Con damage 1/minute, Fort negates for each
5 Blue Stunned for 1d3 rounds (Fort negates)
6 Indigo Confused for 1d3 rounds (Will negates)
7 Violet Teleported in a random direction, 10 ft/level (can’t arrive inside object, must have solid ground underfoot.
8 Roll again

Project Self
Necromancy
Level: Mys 6, Sor/Wiz 6
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 full round
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration: 1 minute/level

When you cast this spell, your spirit separates from your body, and your body enters a comatose state.
You can choose to simply have your spirit form appear near your body at casting, or you can project it to any location you know of, or into the presence of a known individual.
Either way, once the spell is cast your spirit form may move any distance from your body, flying at a speed of 30 feet, with perfect maneuverability.
In this form, you are considered incorporeal, except that you are totally immune to damage, except from Ghost Touch weapons or force-based spells. A dispel magic spell targeted at your spirit form will end the spell if successful.
You can choose to be visible, or invisible, and may switch between the two at will as a full-round action. Your spirit form has exactly the same sensory abilities you did at the time you cast the spell. You can speak through your projection, but cannot affect the physical world by any means including spells.
Your projection will not trigger physical traps or warding spells (such as alarm) of 6th level or below. You still cannot pass through force barriers.
When the spell ends, your spirit returns to your body, and you regain consciousness in 1d4 minutes.
