New Spider-man no way home trailer

Despite the lack of any screen time for Tobey or Andrew, people commenting on this elsewhere are swearing that it is Andrew's hand, and not Tom's, reaching to catch MJ.
It’s the same suit we’ve seen in full in the trailer, but I guess that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s Tom Holland.

There's also the fact that the Lizard towards the end of the trailer leaps forward at nothing, and has his head twist as if it were punched, but there's absolutely nothing there. People have speculated that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire are actually in that shot, but were digitally removed to avoid spoiling their presence.

Well considering the Eternals Trailer

Straight up lies about Thanos' involvement with the emergence to allow for the twist in the movie

Its pretty hard to speculate.

Well, then it would mean that Garfield has been lying with each denial (which is possible), and the only thing with Toby is he MIGHT have been getting fitted for a costume back in 2020 in Hollywood, but he was also filming another project in Hollywood, while Spider-man was filming on the east coast.

Interestingly, the full cast list has Foxx, Molina, and Dafoe listed, but not Rhys Ifans or Thomas Haden Church.

It would also mean that they finally taught Holland how to keep his mouth shut about spoilers lol since he denied that either Andrew or Toby were going to be in it.

Yeah, that shot is odd looking. The Lizard, Electro, and Sandman coming from the right and only Tom Holland's Spider Man coming from the left?

@trappedslider as for denial of being in a movie/series, remember that Ming-Na Wen denied she would be back on season 2 of The Mandalorian, and even went so far as to say she would love to come back and was available, if Lucasfilm wanted to call her, as the season was airing. And then boom, she turns up on the show.

My understanding is that Sony is not known for learning that lesson - which is part of why they have Marvel make the Spider-Man movies now.
And yet it still doesn't help. Cue to Sony interfering and forcing it to be the last MCU Spiderman before pulling him into their SPUMC
