That was funny, but now I remember one of the big reasons I stopped watching SNL years ago- they have a tendency to drag things out way past the point where it's not funny anymore.
 


It's only tangentially related, but this reminds me of the Weekend Update sketch they did, I think, last saturday, where they interviewed Rudy Giuliani. They asked him about his campaign and he responded "well...it was kind of like an SNL sketch. It started off great, but it went on too long, and then no one could figure out how to end it." I announced that Rudy just won SNL, turned off the TV and went to bed.
 

Yup. Too long but a funny concept. Might have been funnier if they had more than one occurence where he attempted to fight crime.

I am not sure whether to hope you were alone or not. Either you turned off the television on everyone else who was watching with you after making the announcement or made the announcement to no one. :D

My wife was on the computer in the next room over, but wasn't really watching.

I don't make a habit of talking to myself...I'm not THAT weird. :lol:

Well, OK... I am. But I don't go around admitting it in public.
