New Vader Costume for Episode III?

Your link's not working for me for some reason.

As for me, I've kind of resigned myself to the fact that the prequels are really nothing like the way I'd imagined them a few years ago. At this point, a costume change is not surprising, and pretty much the last thing I'm worried about as far as continuity goes.

I heard this as well. But IMO if you are going to have Vader, HAVE VADER, in the black armor we all know and love. I also heard Vader is only in like the last 5 minutes of episode 3, so I don't think it will be a big deal. I know the costume will look good, just have to wait and see.

On Hyperspace (Pay section of Starwars.com) they have these web documentaries about the making of ep3. On one of them they show the guy who is sculpting the armor for Vader and he's using photos of the previous versons as reference. He even says he can spot the differences between the armors of the original trillogy. Yes...the Vader suit was different from iv to v to vi.

So While I imagine the "new" Vader suit will be different from the one we know, some people probably won't notice. It won't be that big of a change.

That's a good point. I thought it was actually different for each film. For example, the eyes on the suit in IV were lighter than the other films. It could have been the lighting or I could just be flat out wrong.

Episode 4 had more of a body-suit/armor look to it (cloak and armor). Episode 5 had it more ceremonial robe style with cloth draping from his shoulders and belted to his waist. I dunno about too many of the changes for 6.

I think it'll be just slightly different. The suit as a whole will have to look the same, or it just won't be Vader.

I think it'll be drastically different. The suit as a whole will have to look like a Power Rangers outfit, or it just won't be a Lucas prequel.
