New WotC D&D DMing Survey

Just got an [-]e-mail[/-] RSS news feed that a new WotC survey is online:
Tell Us What You Think!

I am not sure what the differences between this and the last one were. I suppose it depends on what you select, but you can answer questions about DMing and playing, though the focus seems more the DM side.

Perhaps someone who speaks code can translate this one?

Stat blocks for published monsters, without using the all of the monster description as written

I took that to mean -- you use your own "fluff" and physical description. So you can use the stats for goblins in the MM, but call them feral monkeys in your session... that sort of thing. At least that was my interpretation of that question.

Yeah that's how I took that one as well.

I noticed there was an option like:

Q: Do you use a laptop at the gaming table?
Me: Yes:
Q: What for?
A: mm can't answer that, no option for 'I use it to search the PDFs that you no longer sell!'

Similar question needed for the prep one as well....

Loaded questions :)

I think it would mean you use the stats of a monster but have your own description of it. Ie using the stats from a Hobgoblin but you make up a description/mannerisms of it unique for your campaign world to make a poor example - excuse me one beer and I'm already buzzed! :-S
