-AND FINALLY-
My true friends are anyone who still talks to me even after being exposed to Synnibarr.
"Exposed" to? Just as if we had endured "exposure" to four hours of intense radiation, we (all 8 players) will never be the same.

And as for "still talk to" you, well, I'm way beyond that. I think I worship you now. All hail, MattyHelms! Paragon of GMing, Destroyer of souls, and Ringer of authenticity!

Aren't you and Matty Helms going to have that brawl that was mentioned at the Creative Mountain Games fourms now that you are cyborgs? ;) :D

So, when will we get a sign up list?. I don't think I am going to run anything this time, but I do plan to attend. The events sound interesting.

Unless they're keeping you close to them in preparation for the day when they finally take their revenge...

As for Game Day, d02: Know No Limit!!!!!!!11!! sounds like about the greatest thing man's ever created. I'm leaning towards taking the spiffy new Stargate SG-1 for a spin (which, for those who desire a Spycraft game, is "Powered by Spycraft").

Yeah, Barendd and I will be squaring off at this Gameday - his gamma-radiated body vs. my cybernetic sonar might. As added heat, I think wants revenge for exposing him to Synnibar.

Since the Gameday isn't until mid-November, I wanted to wait until October to get the official sign-up thread going. It'll appear sometime next week.

Good one, Joe!!!! (I need to suck up to him since he runs the Buffy game I play in. Then again, he's currently one of my Call of Cthulhu victims, so he should be kissing up to me!!! :) )

d02: Know No Limit!!!!!!!11!! must happen. In fact, it may be the only system that can capture the granduer of Barendd's brawl with me!!!

Couple of questions for you g-day veterans. I have not been to Games Plus in years - so be patient.

1. Would there be room and interest in a giant scale model reverse dungeon style game? or is that too far afield from true RPG for folks?

2. How hard is the gaming area to get to? Visualize a friend and I hauling two-dozen boxes of mastermaze and you have an idea of what I'm talking about.

Thanks.

Sounds like fun to me, but Thalmin (co-owner of store and frequent poster here) can give you a better idea.

Anyway, to get you started, there is a large game room. There are three tables in front, and then a large table in back used for miniatures gaming. You can see a picture of the third "front" table and the large "miniature" table in back at my web site. It's the first picture on the page. WARNING: Do NOT look at the Synnibar pictures. I repeat, for the love of all that is good and sane, do NOT view the Synnibar pictures on the same page!

There might be better pictures at the Games Plus site, if you wanna search around there.

In terms of access, the rear door opens right into the gaming area, next to the "miniatures" table in the back. So, access is very easy--you could unload, move the truck to a parking spot, and drive back over at the end of the day to load up for the drive home.

Hope this helps.

I'm vaguely considering going. I have school and all, but it would be worth it if I could make it. I, of course, would have to run a game and play two.

Pogre, the beardless one is right about the access, but there are two large table for minis in the back. Just for the record, 4 years ago we moved to our present location, which is about 2 blocks from the old place. No more basement, everything on one level.
