This is completely off topic, but I saw that you have a WotC novel coming out next year. I thinks it's called The Black Crusade. Could you elaborate on the setting it's in and the basic premise of the book? I can't find anything more than the title on amazon.

Thanks for answering my question. The link was quite helpful. It seems interesting. Mixing real world history with Ravenloft. I might just pick it up. Finding the time to read it will be the hard part.Mouseferatu said:It's the first of the new Ravenloft: Dominion line. You can find brief blurbs for it, and the second novel in the series, here: http://ww2.wizards.com/Books/Wizards/?doc=main_2008ravenlofttitles
Can't say much more than is already there, but if you have other questions, I'll try to answer 'em. (Perhaps in a new thread.)![]()

The other day I bought a couple of Blood War (?) packs from a games shop, but I went through them feeling by weight first...MerricB said:There are sets where you are guaranteed* 1 large figure per box; sometimes 2.
There are other sets where the average is more than 1/box, but isn't guaranteed.
(*failing mechanical or human error - and not guaranteed by Wizards. They just guarantee you get 8 figures/booster).
Cheers!

Not to mention a wraith can wield a ghost touch weapon. That the MM dread wraith have one just means it's not standard equipment.Echohawk said:From the SRD: "In some cases, the grim silhouette of a wraith might appear armored or outfitted with weapons. This appearance does not affect the creature’s AC or combat abilities but only reflects the shape it had in life."
So it's because that particular dread wraith carried a sword around when it was alive.
But "because it looks cool!" works for me too![]()
