Check out gamespot.com - they have trailers and explainations of the games and surprises revealed at E3. The Smash Bros trailer was hilarious for the end reveal of Snake (And before that: non-armored Samus in a catsuit?!). Not to mention an underrated franchise.

Just saw the trailer, twice. Took a couple of times to absorb the goodness. Not a launch title, but I'm OK with that, as there's potentially a heavy dose of good stuff at launch anyway.

Nintendo would be very well advised to hit a $200 price point. I agree that $300 is too much. I suspect that they're still discussing whether to go low or medium low. Last time, being under the competition probably cost them some cred (OK, maybe the purple lunchbox design didn't help, either), but this time I think a low price point could be a very smart move, even as it acknowledges that the Wii may be a number of people's second console.

I really hope Nintendo goes after the lower price point. They really need to get back some market share, and entering at a lower price point would certainly help.

I'm very excited about Super Smash Brothers Brawl and the new Zelda game (Princess something?)

I read that the Wii is expected to go for $250, but a friend of mine predicts the $150-200 range. I'd be surprised if it went for $300.

It's Zero Suit Samus.

And it looks like there'll be super moves that will be activated by collecting icons.

I'm wondering if they'll ever follow Metroid Fusion, instead of doing some of what they're doing with Prime, which is historical filler.

FYI,
http://www.gamespot.com/features/6146540/p-4.html
Nintendo publicly stated that the Wii will be cheaper than the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. The Xbox 360 debuted at $299 and $399, respectively, for the Core and Premium systems. In comparison, Sony's recently released pricing information puts the PlayStation 3 at $499 for the 20GB model, and at $599 for the 60GB model.

Historically speaking, Nintendo hasn't been cagey with its console-pricing strategy. Nintendo's magic number has been $199 over its past four console launches. Nintendo offered bundles that increased the price point, but $199 is where everything usually starts.

Nintendo could significantly undercut the competition by lowering the price to $149; some even speculate that Nintendo could introduce the Wii at blowout price of $99. However, even if priced at $199, the Wii would only cost half as much as a full Xbox 360 or a PlayStation 3. Judging from the past, we're guessing that Nintendo will ship the Wii with a $199 price tag.

We can hope for less than $199
