Icebear, you don't know me but I have known 'Lucius' for over a decade now. I lived in the same dorm, suite and house with him in college, met his family, attended his wedding, went baby clothes shopping with him for his son (you get the idea). I have to say I know him very well. In the entire time I have known him I have never, ever met another human being with a better ability to push the right buttons than he. I say ability but that word is too weak, maybe proclivity or even magical power is more appropriate.

However, I can assure you, it is not done with malice or malevalence but more of a joy in practicing an art that you have mastered. Some people are master craftsmen, some are great at sports and then there are people that have a gift like Lucius. Can you stop a bird from flying or a fish from swimming? I have learned to just sit back and watch in awe.

I know. From the moment him and Tom started to coordinate subtle shots in a past thread I knew that Lucius was like that. Just the fact that he does it subtly - rather than a wild swings that is most commonly used on these forums - led me to an image of a guy that was just saying stuff semi-serious just to see what he can do.

That's why it pisses me off that, even knowing what he's doing, he still gets to me

Also for the record, he's a Commie bastard with fake teeth and I wish he'd stop it.

You're right Henry, but I had thought after my blow-up post, everything was ok in the thread. It was really me and not Lucius that should be chastised. I'd just be a better person on here if I could push a button and not see someone's posts. Is there a means to do this?

Leave it to WotC, the creators of the impossible Magic: TCG rules, to create the same havoc on D&D. I swear, they love to make rules so players can fight and argue and kick and scream over, then sit back and watch from their big bad office in Seattle. Then come out with new "Revised" rules to start the whole thing over again. You just can't fix everything. We're mortal (most of us), and there will always be somebody somewhere who finds a rule and a way to complain about it.

P.S.: No offense to the big cheeses up at WotC.
