No more Captain Picard?

Personally, it's time to mix up the Trek cast (from TNG, DS9, & VOY) to make one ensemble film.

If they added some TOS to TNG, DS9, & VOY, wouldn't it be the Old, Bold, Gold and Resoled...?

ROTFL! :p

Well, I don't mind a cameo from TOS. Still don't know what happened to Spock since NEMESIS. Last I heard, Scotty was heading toward a retirement planet after having been trapped in a transporter buffer but was released in TNG. Don't know if the others lived that long.

Scotty was released in TNG. He then went on to be in a series of novels - they put Scotty in chage of the Starfleet Corps of Engineers :)

Dr. McCoy lived to see the launching of the Enterprise D - he toured the ship in the beiginning of TNG, but he was very, very old. And, seeing as DeForest Kelly is no longer with us, we can assume that McCoy's not in any more films...

When? Was he in one of the episodes, or what?

The very first St:TNG episode, "Encounter at Farpoint" featured DeForest Kelley as Admiral Leonard "Bones" McCoy.

Yeah, I got the hint when Captain Picard is expecting an Admiral coming in by shuttle and not by transporter. :p

It was a small scene where Data was escorting the Admiral through a corridor.

Naughty, naughty mojo!

Anyhooy, can't say I'm heartbroken over Stewart's decision,
especially after NEMESIS, which is a film that just saddens me.

*SIGH*

So much potential, all thrown away for a stupid tWoK wannabe
plot and non-sensical the-fate-of-earth end battle.

You called NEMESIS script a "tWoK wannabe plot"?

Personally, only First Contact comes close to TWOK. They seem to spotlight the obsessive vengeful character. The difference, Khan was such a character in TWOK, while Picard who is hell-bent on destroying Borgs like it's the next Moby Dick embraced that persona in FC.

IMNSHO, NEMESIS tried to copy The Undiscovered Country, in a totally WRONG direction.
