Btw, if you have managed to *freeze* your opponent to 0 str, 0 dex, you should just coup de grace him.
I think CDG's a full-round action and thus, not usually an option in the midst of a full attack.

I wonder if the unarmed attacks being "light" weapons in 3.5e mean that they can't be enhanced with power attack?

Unarmed attacks are specifically noted as an exception to the 'can't power atatck with light weapons' rule.

Nope :)

From the SRD:

Special: (blah blah blah) You can’t add the bonus from Power Attack to the damage dealt with a light weapon (except with unarmed strikes or natural weapon attacks)

Power Attack specifically excempts natural weapons and unarmed strikes from the "no bonus for light weapons" clause.

Why you can hit harder with a punch than with a gauntlet, spiked gauntlet, or punch dagger, I dunno.

(Well, actually, I do -- stop Power Attacks with daggers and shortswords, but not monks' 2d8 fists or dragons' claws. :D)

Okay, okay, I've stopped wondering already :D

A pity. I was just about to explain it one more time. ;)

The best think now is that monks can finally multiclass without having to track dozens of different attack rows. Also, you can do the already-famours monk16/ftr4 line to 6 attacks.

And I wonder: Did they ever errata the Drunken Master in any way? Cause he has the strong BAB (which stacks with monks uab in 3.0).

They're not dealing with splatbook issues relating to 3.5e at the moment. I guess that when "Complete Warrior" and related books see the light they will be revising and rewriting stuff at that point.

I meant errata'ed any time, not just for 3.5. The thing is, he does have a strong BAB plus they say it stacks with UAB.

Getting +2/+2/+5/+3/+1 over 3.0 monk attacks is WELL worth the attack at +1 to hit that you lose. Anything you can hit with +1 BAB at 20th level on less than a 20 should be 1.) Rare, and 2.) getting massively power attacked.
