No one discussing "The Plane Below"?

So far I have bought most of the rules books, but none of the fluff books for 4E.

I am the opposite. I have all the fluff ones but few of the crunch ones. DDI makes this more than acceptable for me.

I just got Plane Below a couple of days ago, but haven't had a chance to read it yet. It's on tonight's list. :)

Meh. I browsed it. No interest. Which is pretty much my reaction to most 4E supplements.

 How can a game be so good in play, yet its books so dull at the same time?
I look at 4e books for tools, not inspiration. D&D hasn't has inspiring fluff since the 2e days anyway (Al'Qadim, Birthright, Ravenloft, Planescape, Spelljammer, Dark Sun, etc.).

There is plenty of inspiration to be had in novels (non D&D novels, that is). :)

The previews actually made me slightly interested in this book, even though I have no interest in 4E (or its revised cosmology). I'll wait for it to appear in my FLGS to see if the actual fluff content is sufficient for me to spend money on it.

Usually by the time the book has actually come out, everything has been discussed in the "Hey I got it early ask me questions" thread.

So would Dice4Hire be considered a "Cruncher" and castclaw227 a "Fluffer"?

X-mas-XP 4 U my friend
If anyone is interested in the book, I am giving away a copy at my blog... :)
Are you like WotC? Only Americans allowed?
