There's a player in one o' my campaigns using a Faust from Oathbound. They look kind of like a dryer wartier version of the Alien with demony sort of head rather than grasshoppers.
They are a sort of heavily armored, bite, and scratch race. ECL 3. The character has a lot of strength and a really unbelievable AC so the party makes up for his low levels of skills by making him bait.
Every encounter with a pack of things he just wades right in, and let's them try to hit him while the rest of the party takes them out.
Guy plays like a big good natured thug who just happens to be more lawful than evil, and everyone once in a while does something that makes everyone look at him suspiciously.
