A PC in my 3.5e campaign once killed a half-dragon tyrannosaurus with his voice.

Okay, what actually happened is that the half-dragon tyrannosaurus swallowed the warmage PC whole, so he used the most powerful spell in his arsenal which had only a verbal component: shout. The half-dragon tyrannosaurus made its save, but the spell still dealt enough damage to kill it. I described it as the entire stomach wall of the half-dragon tyrannosaurus exploding in a shower of gore, opening a path for the warmage to stomp out of the half-dragon tyrannosaurus as it collapsed behind him.
