We at Malladin's Gate Press have one product available already, Universal FX is a freebie downloadable from RPGNow. This provides a toolkit for building your own magical powers for D20M that work off skills and feats ratherthan requiring classes and levels. There is an example system that has been created with Universal FX included in tehproduct, along with advanced and prestige classes that build on the basics of teh skills and feats system.

We also have the Modern Heroes line, which starts with Martial Avengers, a class book for Strong and Fast heroes. Martial avengers will be written shortly, but we are in talks with a third party to publish this...

As well as this we have the Etherscope campaign setting, which is a 'Victoriana Cyberpunk' setting. This is a mixture between typical steam punk, cyberpunk and cthulu.

There is also our DarkLore campaign setting, which is a stand-alone fantasy game, using a class system heavily based on D20 Modern.

Details of all these can be found on our website: www.malladinsgate.com

On top all these, we've also got a new game setting that we're currently working on called Street Ronin (working title) which is a dark goth-punk horror mixed with low-power superheroes. Nigel (my fellow writer/designer) calls it Supers-Punk.

Cheerio for now,

Ben, Malladin's Gate Press

For $7.50 each, the volumes of Big Bang are giving you gun books for a less than $2 per game system covered! o_O

Prices on older volumes will drop in october, after I finish building the first annual compendium, which will include full color, embedded video, and some integrated programmed PDF tools. Good thing I can do acrobat javascript in my sleep, otherwise I'd never have time to get everything done. I'm still trying to figure out how to find the time to do a decent website...
when is the compendium due out? This will include all the books right?

As most of the d20 Modern publishers are chiming in...

We create Dark Inheritance, a mythic horror campaign setting that was nominated this year for the Best Campaign Setting ENnie. We're most proud that our first book received such a prestigious nomination. :D

We also have a book about magic in the modern world coming out this fall. Modern Spellcraft is written by Steve Kenson (Mutants & Masterminds), Sam Witt, Aaron Rosenberg, and Chad Justice. Inside you'll find technomancy, a magic system that uses drain instead of spell slots, urban shamans, ritual magic, spirit binding, bioetheric symbiotic implants, and more. Yes, it's behind schedule due to many factors but it really rocks.

Shortly thereafter is the first Allegiance book for Dark Inheritance - First Team. Inside you'll find everything you need to play a mercenary based Dark Inheritance campaign as well as new equipment, feats, and birthrights. The book will also update the Dark Inheritance seeting to the end of 2003.

Those and the d20 Modern players compendiums, and all the blood and ? books all see pretty awesome.

I am really interested in your alternate magic rules you have briefly mentioned above. Sounds a lot like Shadowrun to me, and I like Shadowrun magic. :D

I should also mention
Quickshots: Mission File Alpha
A Brood/Enpublishing pdf product.

I was the one of the editors.

*thwaps C.Biaze for not thinking of it*

Any idea on specific dates? I am eagerly awaiting this product. Eagerly!

No specific date but the books in editing right now and so I know it'll be before the end of the year. Sorry for not being able to give a more specific date.

Last week of October is the target date. It will include all the books published up to that date, all heavily modified from their meant-for-print counterpart PDFs.

Incidentally, You can save $4.50 buying the three Big Bang books this weekend. Since it is labor day, I've put them on sale for $6.00 each, a 20% discount.

Big Bang Mini-Bang #2 is supposed to be released by monday, but looks like it might be delayed due to my desire to add details on nifty little things the army has been planning on adding to its inventories alongside the Future Arms weapons, like the TRAP, SARGE, Gladiator and Packbot TUGVs, and the M-Gator 2x4 transport.
