Haha. Some of this is great. Never seen House but I love your concept there.
I was going to suggest that many of the main characters in final fantasy type RPGs are very warlord like in personality. They are often blundering in social situations, but skilled in combat, and get by socially by being genuinely heroic, nice, and likable. Like Lloyd Irving in Tales of Symphonia, etc.
This sort of warlord is just a beacon of selflessness and combined with his combat skill with a focus on teamwork is an inspiring site to the party.
