North Carolina Game Day IV: May 8

Rel, I just wanted to let you know that I've got to take DMsGirl in for a checkup in our hometown on Friday (she managed to break her leg about 8 weeks ago whilst roller-skating). I shouldn't have any problem making the dinner, but I guess there's a slim chance that I could be late.

Henry, sorry 'bout being as unresponsive as a board the last few weeks. I have (finally) gotten my major exam and research paper behind me, so I'm going to be delving into character creation tonight and Thursday. You should have a shiny new character by the end of the day Thursday.

I'd like to attend the dinner if I could ... where is it at? Am I too late?

No problem, 'Monk, and tell DMG I hope she's doing better. Sorry to hear it. In a worst case, I'm building a few pre-genned characters to take with me, so anyone without a PC will not be in trouble. In fact, Only one of the four players has submitted a character as of now!

Adamantine Angel, glad to see you! Rel has all the details about dinner, but I wouldn't THINK there's a problem with squeezing in one or two extra.

Dinner is going to be at Errico's Ristorante in Cary. It is in a shopping center at the intersection of Kildaire Farm Road and Maynard Road (if that means anything to you). Let me know if you need directions.

A Tight Spot DnD 3E Game

Greetings All,

Those playing in the "A Tight Spot" DnD 3E game... CHECK YOUR E-MAIL!

PC sheets should be there, along with items magical and mundane. If you have any questions, comments or gripes, please let me know by 5:00 PM on Friday night. I will be arriving at the game site ~ 12:00 Noon on Saturday, so we will have a bit of tweaking time prior to game time.

Greetings All,

Those playing in the "A Tight Spot" DnD 3E game...

Just so's you know, Old One, I've assembled the figures and whatnot for your game. I've got:

-A selection of figures that are more or less appropriate for the PC's
-Around 17-18 assorted bowmen and crossbowmen
-15 halberdiers
-11 mounted knights/spearmen
-20-25 assorted minis that are a smaller size (16mm maybe?) and armed with all manner of swords and shields
-A castle with 4 towers and a gatehouse that, assembled, is about 24"x24" (it looks just awesome)

And of course my 36x48 battlemat with hexes on one side and grid on the other.

I can't wait!
