Northern California Game Day (Any DMs out there?)

I have a breakfast suggestion... there's a Denny's a block or two down from Great Escape Games on Howe. I've just been thinking about food alot lately as I'm on a diet of sorts.....

I think there's also a Lyon's... at least there used to be. There's a feww dozen food places all laong there, I don't know which ones are open for breakfast however.

It's a good thing that there are multiple restaraunts nearby- if we have too large of a group or if there are conflicting tastes we can split up into two groups of, say, 10 and 10.

Talinthas, how's that Davis DM feel?

For the actual games, are we going to use pre-generated characters, or will we be making our own? If we are making our own it would a good idea to have them ready beforehand. Character creation can take a while.

This will be up to the individual DM. For my adventure, for example, I'll require the players to create their characters before the game using point buy.

OK. I haven't gotten a lot of response yet from other places. Tsunami, anyone make any inquiries at your e-mail from places other than ENWorld?

What I do have is HackJoe who is working on an HM adventure, levels 1-3. Bring you own or pregens available. He has also said he could run the Temple of Pazuzu, but that would mean he'd be game mastering for 10+ hours! I'd rather someone else pick up that game.

We also need a second GM for the other evening table. C'mon you rat bastard NorCal DMs. Temple of Pazuzu is open and another table needs a 5 hour game in any system!

HackJoe also mentioned the possibility of doing a Mech Warrior: Dark Age game. He said it takes about an hour.

Joe's brothers and others in my gaming group may be interested in joining in, but I haven't heard from them yet

I would suggest a c&p of my schedule in this thread so you can update it Tsunami, since you're the "central clearing house."

I really reallly recommend pregen characters. For all the games. At least the basic outlines of characters. Or something. Character generation takes a lot of time, or it can. Maybe really generic pregen characters.

A couple questions:

Where is everyone meeting? Great Escape doesn't open at 9am.

Anyone willing to run a clix type game? I know there's the gladiatorial type one... Me, I've never played in a clix game, but I have a bunch of heroclix figs.. I figure if anyone else does and knows the rules, well, maybe that's an option...
