Northern California Game Day (Any DMs out there?)

Dristram - what Rennaisance Faires do you attend?
We've (my wife & I) gone to many in Northern CA since joining a Guild.

Hey ya,

Usually:
Fresno City College (sometimes)
Tulare
Willits (not this year)
Cedar Springs (in place of Willits)
Valhalla (not this year)
Fair Oaks (coming up!)
A Royalle Affayre (first time this year)
RPFN (most of the run and RPFS for Memorial Day)
Hanford
Folsom
Kearney Park (sometimes)

I used to attend Pittsburg as well.

And you? What guild are you in?

Jeez Tsunami, how'd you get so much response this time? I been beatin' my head against a wall tryin' to get a response from NorCal gamers and got squat!

I must have rolled a twenty on my charisma check.

Anyways, I added Reapersaurus' name to the "Definitely Interested" list and Bloodymage's to the "Maybe Interested."

By the way, the people listed under "Maybe Interested" are those who haven't actually posted "Yes, I'd like to go," so if you're definitey interested, just post a confirmation.

Anyways, dates.

Do any of the dates above not work for anyone? Does anyone have any preferences on which day we play? Friday? Saturday? Sunday?

Any day is fine over the July 4th weekend, but lots of people use that for road trips. Participation might be down. I'll probably be stuck with Sundays for the other two weekends. And of course I'm a definite "yes" as long as it's an open day for me.

Let's get it finalized, though. There has to be time to determine who's running and who's playing and in what. I also want to get the word out in a wider circle, but I need definites.

According to my calendar, July 19 is a Saturday. Sunday the 20th would be good... so we're still saying Great Escape games, right?

Put me down as a probable; I'll commit definitely yea or nay once you start actually scheduling games.

Perhaps the inaugural 3.5 game for some of us?

July 19th? What are you talking about? :p

Thanks for catching that.

Hm... I'm not sure about 3.5... I'm more familiar with the 3.0 rules, but I'll go with the popular vote.

And yes, we're still shooting for Great Escape Games

Ok, looks like this is going to go somewhere this time, good job T-man.

I would like to go and as of right now the 19th sounds like a possibility for me.

Is that date set in stone?

If I make it it will be as a player, unless people want to run a one-off using part of RtTToEE. (what I'm DM'ing right now)

IMPORTANT NEWS - - -

In the search for information I just called the game store, and here is what I found out. (for those of us that have not been there)

1 - the room is approx 20- 60 with approx 20 tables or so.

2 - sundays are CCG Tourny's (flavor of the month) generally bringing in a larger # of younger players. (this means it will be loud)

3 - they seem to have no real limit on # of people they will let in. (i'm sure thier is one, but probably much higher than we would really want for a RPG event) (this means it will be really LOUD)

#2 & 3 really bother me, not that I'm trying to cause problems, just doing my part as Nor Cal Gamer to make this a good event for anyone that attends.

Just a quick heads up for everyone. :)

Yikes!

I wonder if we'd be able to possibly reserve it that day. Hm... if not, we should probably choose another day. What do the rest of you say?
