Upon reaching the center of the villagers,Rhynos pulls Soter alongside and whispers to him Translate for me.
Before the sorcerer can respond, he raises his voice for all the villagers to hear, "Good people of Leuo we have returned. The Caeliban have scattered and left the Burrows. Their infernal plot has been thwarted. Alas, this is not without some sadness, the woman we took with us is no more. I am deeply sorry for your loss. We had thought we would perish putting a stop to the Caeliban as they took us prisoner, but good fortune happened upon us and we took our opportunity to escape. We have brought with us the great General Mechae and the Aedilean army who played no small part in our success. Tonight we shall feast and revel in what will be the dawn of a new age for the people of Leuo."
In the cheering that follows, Rhynos slips up to Ana and whispers, As soon as you can, scout the mountain and find out where we need to go. We will slip out in the cover of night while these cretins are still too deep in their cups to do anything but paw at each other's filthy bodies. The sooner we are out of this primitive refuse pile the better.
